Description: 2009. I wrote new tunes for most of the hymns on this volume. And for the most part, I tried to discard the traditional verse, verse, verse, verse, verse form because the texts of these old hymns move in a much more interesting manner than that structure allows. I at least tried to allow room for an occasional breather.
